Pirelli (being under a lot of pressure to make changes), introduces a whole new range of tyres for the teams to test during the YDT, which will be used from the summer break on?

Thus all teams, bar Mercedes, having knowledge of these new tyres.

Ah come on, it'd be slightly amusing.

...although not as amusing as F1 not having a tyre supplier in 2014 after everyone slagging Pirelli off for the last few years.

S Domenicali and C Honer both suggesting that the Silverstone Young Driver test now becomes a tyre test with race drivers

Suggesting the YDT should be done by race drivers illustrates the self interest pervading F1. All teams are trying to twist the situation to their own advantage rather than work on a solution that benefits the sport.
