Welcome to New England!
(Yes folks, your flag was stolen by those goons in Lebanon, sue at will)
According to my American culture classes (yes, there are american culture classes in europe) there was a bit of a discussion in New England a few years ago. Something about tea, taxes and opressing british men. But that was in Boston, and I am pretty sure that discussion came to nothing... I mean.... do americans even drink tea? On a Nascar race?! NAH!
This weekend's stop is the New Hampshire Speedway!
Shire?
Get the Hobbits off the thread! This is strictly about racing!
First of all, no, it's not a typo, the race is the Camping World RV Sales 301 and it's a Sprint Cup race.
Second, after the Daytona Madness Part II we are back to the traditional Nascar shedule. Cup on Sunday, Nationwide on Saturday, Trucks racing somewhere else.
We will be back to the trucks later.
The Race for The Chase is slowly getting heat, with Nascar running the first stories on who's in and who's out. Usually more on who's out.
Actually, the truth is that despite a massive bust on tech inspection that caught up dozens of cars in 2 divisions, Nascar issued no penalties.
Yes! NO PENALTIES! NADA! Not even a Penske spat.
There are 8 races to lock the Chase, but it's probably a good time for some people, who I will not mention...
to get their acts together.
In other news, Dale Jr. has given the official OK for Austin Dillon to drive the number 3 car. Which is ironic given that Jr. himself has been denied his own number 8. But that's the least of our worries, we all know what they will be trending next year:
TV viewers know the drill: Speed/Soon-to-be-Fox-Sports airs the trucks race, ESPN does the Nationwide and Trinitrotoluene does the Cup race.
As usual, it all comes down to who has the biggest belly among the female contingent. National anthem to be a hit or miss, if the weather goes wrong and all contingency plans run out we can always count on Clint Bowyer to keep us up. Or we get some weird music ensemble playing live with Kyle Petty grinning.

Now, Trucks!
One would think that the main event being named after Camping World would give the truckers some slack right?
Nope! Begone to Iowa I say!
Hey! At least they are racing on a Saturday and trucks go well with corn!
