I am looking to compile information on the old TTF1 World Championships and FIM Cup races from the 80-90's. I am hoping some of the folks on hear could help with results and pictures. Have had no joy contacting the F.I.M. Does anyone have experiences of the series they could share. Found some great footage of the Vila Real races, but drawn a blank with the F2 races at Brno and the Finnish track of Kouvala.

As well as these races any info on pure road races in Estonia, Holland, Belgium from a riders or mechanic point of view would be great. Mechaniced for Rene and Egon Rassmussen as a 16 year old at the TT as well as raced the Manx and Ulster for a few seasons. Been away from the bikes for a while but fancy writing some articles on what I think was a great series for privateer riders.

Any info would be a grand start.

After a considerable amount of time I have finally managed to get the FIM to send me copies of the majority of TTF1 and TTF2 results. I am short of the Czech TTF2 round and most of the 1988 series. Many thanks to all who gave me that initial information....the work continues.

The best place to try would be Motocourse, the books contain results from all the TTF1 rounds 1977-1990.

Managed to get them all now, just the Czech F2 round left, have the top ten points scorers from Brno, but would like to see the full result, thanks for your interest.
