He would. The Mercedes cars that he drove never looked comfortable with, always fighting the car with the tires and its lack of grip. I'd love to see him in a Newey designed car, but it will never happen. When he was at Ferrari, you can tell the cars he drove was pointy and on rails, (1998-2004).

Of course knew this, but we all would like to see this fantasy really happening! Bernie wanted MS in a redbull, so he should pull his little finger out and ask MS to rejoin f1 circus and get a seat with Redbull.

I think MS still is a fit man and probably can still challenge most of these drivers. If Alonso moves to Redbull, then why not bring MS back to Ferrari. Massa is out of a drive for sure. Put Kimi and MS back in a ferrari.

his age is perfect for him to pursuit WEC title and possible LeMans titile. have u seen the drivers that won for audi??? all older than him.

i think he should at least try for lemans and possibly Indy500. he has a lot more racing in him. i dont think he'll do DTM as he mentioned somewhere after his first retirement.

hopefully Merc will venture in LeMans after porsche and possibly ferrari.

perhaps it's because he was in F1 for a long long time and know how a struggling team is like a bottomless well and doesn't wanna become a 'millionaire' from a 'billionaire'


if history is anything to go by, alain prost showed us how tough it is to establish, let alone survive on your own in Formula 1 even if you are 4 time WDC.

Schumi is a owner of a piece of the man-made island paradise 'The World', located off the coast of the United Arab Emirates. This $7 million worth of piece of land is Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum parting gift to Schumacher after his last Grand Prix in Brazil.

No, Merc used the C11 at Le Mans in 1991, the C291 was too fragile for 24h races (but yeah, they didn't show up in 1990 at LM because it was a non-championship race).

let it go man. It will not happen. Michael wouldn't have a chance against a top tier driver these days - he will not become younger. I am sure he could beat the Rosberg's, Button's in a fair fight. But his goal was to fight for the championship, he didn't have the power nor the car. In the end it's a big achievement he was able to match the second tier drivers in my point of view regarding his age. Imagine Mike would beat the best of the world being over forty that wouldn't be a good sign for a drivers like Hamilton or Vettel. He should stay at home a enjoy his family life, he did enough for formula one, he doesn't need to prove anything to anybody..

Maybe. Maybe not. I happen to think even a 44 year old Michael Schumacher would fare quite well against most drivers on the grid. He is technically very strong and would be an excellent supporting role to Seb. He doesn't need to be on the pace of Seb to be a good shoe-in for the Red Bull F1 team.

MS never really had a proper shot as the pirelli tyres were knackered and you could not actually go flat out. I would have liked to see what MS could do by going flat out compared to most of these drivers. It would have been fun.

Lets hope next season they throw out pirelli as they are not up for the job.
