Unless google translation is way off, this article is simply suggesting the idea? [because he did well against Rosberg in 2012]

To be fair the other threads are based on a rumour/a bit of evidence (e.g. a meeting, an article claiming a deal has been done)

The article is mocking the silly season and that every rumour is believed and reported in the press.

But on topic : hell yes i want Michael in a RB!

Jesus I knew this might come up. This series has far too many and long breakes. I vote for adding another 7 races at EU locations. The heat just drives people insane.

Urghh, yet another click-bait article targeting vulnerable F1 fans with nothing to watch the coming weeks.

True. But god forbid F1 fans broaden their horizons to other motor-racing categories, right?

In a Newey car? He'd be fantastic.

Yes if anyone can reduce understeer its Newey in his designs, very often has the cars 'on the nose', Raikkonen loved it Hakkinen loved it Schumacher would fly even now.

He would. The Mercedes cars that he drove never looked comfortable with, always fighting the car with the tires and its lack of grip. I'd love to see him in a Newey designed car, but it will never happen. When he was at Ferrari, you can tell the cars he drove was pointy and on rails, (1998-2004).

It would certainly be something to look forward too. I mean, if redbull are ahead of the game like they have been for many years, then surely there needs to be someone like MS to challenge vettel.

Two german drivers with multiple titles and record breakers. Would be great to see. Get rid of pirrelli tyres.

It is not click bait. It is a sarcastic view on the rumors spreading this summer break, with AMuS taking it to the extreme with suggesting that somebody should start a rumor of MSC going back to F! and RBR.

Of course knew this, but we all would like to see this fantasy really happening! Bernie wanted MS in a redbull, so he should pull his little finger out and ask MS to rejoin f1 circus and get a seat with Redbull.

I think MS still is a fit man and probably can still challenge most of these drivers. If Alonso moves to Redbull, then why not bring MS back to Ferrari. Massa is out of a drive for sure. Put Kimi and MS back in a ferrari.

his age is perfect for him to pursuit WEC title and possible LeMans titile. have u seen the drivers that won for audi??? all older than him.

i think he should at least try for lemans and possibly Indy500. he has a lot more racing in him. i dont think he'll do DTM as he mentioned somewhere after his first retirement.

hopefully Merc will venture in LeMans after porsche and possibly ferrari.

I don't think he would be interested in LeMans tbh. Unless Mercedes or Ferrari go back which might persuade him to try and see?

What's the story to his island thing? I was under the impression he invested into but nothing major happened?

perhaps it's because he was in F1 for a long long time and know how a struggling team is like a bottomless well and doesn't wanna become a 'millionaire' from a 'billionaire' :p

if history is anything to go by, alain prost showed us how tough it is to establish, let alone survive on your own in Formula 1 even if you are 4 time WDC.

I don't think there's much chance of that happening.

Michael's not really a big fan of Le Mans, or multi class racing, because of the speed differences. That and I believe from memory he says Le Mans is too dangerous.

are you talking about this??? it says it was a gift, not investment

Schumi is a owner of a piece of the man-made island paradise 'The World', located off the coast of the United Arab Emirates. This $7 million worth of piece of land is Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum parting gift to Schumacher after his last Grand Prix in Brazil.

he came 5th in lemans in 1991 in merc c291, but it was a shame that he didn't compete in 1990 with the Merc C11, cause that year, that car was the dominant one.

No, Merc used the C11 at Le Mans in 1991, the C291 was too fragile for 24h races (but yeah, they didn't show up in 1990 at LM because it was a non-championship race).

News of kimi being linked to Ferrari. New specs for new season. Redbull want Alonso. Ferrari let kimi go because of santandor wanting only alonso. If Alonso goes, kimi comes in and they can bring in Schumacher too like it should have been in 2007.

It can happen. Unfinished business.

 let it go man. It will not happen. Michael wouldn't have a chance against a top tier driver these days - he will not become younger. I am sure he could beat the Rosberg's, Button's in a fair fight. But his goal was to fight for the championship, he didn't have the power nor the car. In the end it's a big achievement he was able to match the second tier drivers in my point of view regarding his age. Imagine Mike would beat the best of the world being over forty that wouldn't be a good sign for a drivers like Hamilton or Vettel. He should stay at home a enjoy his family life, he did enough for formula one, he doesn't need to prove anything to anybody..

Maybe. Maybe not. I happen to think even a 44 year old Michael Schumacher would fare quite well against most drivers on the grid. He is technically very strong and would be an excellent supporting role to Seb. He doesn't need to be on the pace of Seb to be a good shoe-in for the Red Bull F1 team.

MS never really had a proper shot as the pirelli tyres were knackered and you could not actually go flat out. I would have liked to see what MS could do by going flat out compared to most of these drivers. It would have been fun.

Lets hope next season they throw out pirelli as they are not up for the job.
