I got some fire going after the one car and one track thread. The purpose of this thread: Pick a track and choose a driver that will be able to do pole position for your life and the race for your life. The way you can do it by decade or current or all time drivers and tracks.

Or, in other words, one driver for a single lap and the race itself (you can chosoe the weather condiitons as well, if you'd like).

Single Lap: Ayrton Senna. Track: Monaco. Sunny and Dry. (all time)

Race: Michael Schumacher: Track: Spa (in the wet/dry such as 1995 and 1997).

Current: Single Lap: Lewis Hamilton: Track: Silverstone. (Wet)

Race: Fernando Alonso: Track: Monza. (Dry).

-"I put my life in your hands, Kimi, please, you have never failed me before!"
-"I have never seen you before"
-"Eh... uhm, will you do it?"
-"Do it yourself"

Vic Elford - Targa Florio

Wouldn't trust any of the current drivers to try hard enough or stay off twitter long enough!

Same here - except I would swap Elford for Vaccarella. :)

Can't argue with that! I suppose I could also have Quick Vic at the Nurburgring too given he's a Ringmeister!

It wasn't as good as his slower lap the day before.

That's what he said over the PA afterwards, disappointing the crowd a bit!
