Apologies for the size of this pic, but at least the details are shown quite clearly. It is the rolling chassis of the Masse-rart-i  ("Many strange ingredients in it"), the car my Dad built for Edward Gjølberg. This is 1953, so things have not changed all that much in 15 years. Directly behind the racer there is a glimpse of the Gjølberg-driven Kaiser, which he used for racing and rallying. Perhaps not the most potent of machines...

Here is the Masse-rart-i at the Halden Motor Show, in 2001. It was shown next to the Gr C2 car that I designed and built in 1987-88, the Cheek C288. Again, check those tyres
