Who is going this year's (and potentially last) Korean GP?

Longtime F1 fan and lurker on this board, here.  I am an American based in Shanghai who will be attending my first grand prix, but will be travelling alone.  I have weekend tickets for Grandstand G.  As of now, I do not have any hotel room booked.  I am potentially interested in sharing a room.  Does anyone have any recommendations for hotels?

Post here if you are going, and if you are interested in sharing a hotel room or just hanging out, send me a PM.  Cheers!

I hope you went. A very different experience to the standard GP.

For those who go next year, I would recommend:

  1. Grandstand G for the ability to watch cars for up to 40 seconds.
  2. Grandstand A for a good view of the start/finish, pit lane exit and overtaking in Turns 1-2.
  3. Grandstand D to watch the action closely as the cars go through the slow corners of Turns 4-6.
  4. Grandstand F similar to G, just not as well placed.
  5. Grandstand C Similar to D except you're mostly seeing the back of the cars rather than the front.

The only covered grandstand is the main grandstand, so book this if wet weather might be an issue. (After Fuji 2007, I don't fear the rain anymore!)
