Minimal cooling? They are a liquid cooled engine originally so will still need to be. It seems the engine will have to be mounted high as the oil pump is hanging down very low

I wonder if the "CFRP" bits on the display "engine" are just contact sheets of faux carbon over wood or papier-mâché?  If I were him, that's what I'd do.  In any case the anodizing and polishing on the Al bits of the lump showing are quite pretty.
