Hello,

I have taken these photos in remembrance in Rob Walker and his drivers Jo Siffert and Graham Hill,

this team was the last one who could win a grand prix as a private team with a customer car (Jo Siffert, Brands Hatch 1968).

Jo Siffert’s Lotus 49 (R2) and 49B (R7)

Graham Hill’s Lotus 49C (R10) and Lotus 72C (R4)

Some more Lotus from my collection

If by "grand prix" you mean a race that payed points for the World Championship for Drivers, then I believe they were also the first?

How realistic are those models?!! I opened the thread and was convinced I was looking at the actuals cars until I saw the Graham Hill mannequin - fabulous work.

Only in 1972-73, and the South American races of 1974.

A question: was the Hesketh-team not a privateer team running F1 cars off the shelf?

You could also ask whether Tyrrell was a privateer team when running a March in 1970, including the Spanish GP win.

Wonderful, absolutely fantastic work.
The lighting in the last shot is uncanny even at second glance that would have me fooled, the shadows give it such depth.

Thank you for sharing them, have you posted them to Britmodeller? It has an active car modelling community and such artistry would be well appreciated there.

I guess a final well done is due to Ebbro they really are lovely kits.
