Is there a list of the GP cars that our esteemed leader owns? I think he had to sell some during his divorce but I think some appeared at one of the GPs in the Gulf a few years ago.

There's some info in these earlier threads, but there's nothing in them later than 2009:
Bernie Ecclestone's collection

From what I recall from working there very briefly half of Biggin Hill airfield and its buildings is full of all kinds of stuff that he owns.
I worked in the vid suite very briefly and the ground fllor was where the planes were kept, and in there were a heap of Brabhams! Strangely after a few days you never looked twice, they were just part of the furniture

When were you at Diamond House "Chunder"? We may have met!! I was surprised to find when I started work for him, that BCE hadn't kept all the Brabhams, but of course the early ones (of his ownership) such as th BT42 and 44, were sold on, but he was a very happy man the day the Pace BT44 returned 'home'!
Just as a point, he didn't 'have' to sell any cars, he made a decision to alter the collection from all sorts of cars to just race cars.
Having walked around the cars with "his nibs" I can assure he gets very starry eyed about them, and certain cars I saw him go silent and look at for quite long periods of time. As an illustration, he once said to me, "there should be a gap between those two, then I could try and find a Lotus 79 to go in there, that was a beautiful car". He does have a strong affinityto the history of the sport.
As for a list, I couldn't even guess, they moved about quite a bit, but that they are ALL capable of running is quite a testament!!

Such a strong affinity he has trousered billions and sold the sport down the river by holding Grands Prix in daft places like Bahrain. Some might say...

I was in Bahrain for the Grand Prix in March 2010, when two dozen historic F1 cars were flown out along with eighteen World Champions to drive them. Not all, but a lot from Bernie's collection, reunited with their original pilots. Only Piquet and Raikkonen weren't there, the former not exactly flavour of the month after the shenanigans at Singapore (a race I also attended). Kimi was on his home planet, and had missed the journey through the wormhole to make it on time.
There are photos on archived threads, but I will repost them here if anyone wants to see them JohnP

This is the mystery of Bernie. What you say is absolutely true and I am one of the first to say it. I decry what he has done to the sport, which I consider to be uniformly negative.
Nevertheless, it is impossible to overlook that he has this affinity. The mystery is how he does not see any contradiction between the two sides of his character. The way that he hides away his collection and keeps even the knowledge of it out of public view is odd, to my mind. Wheatcroft was by far the more admirable man.

SOT apparently BCE also once owned this Lamborghini Muira, not sure if that was before, when or after it had been damaged by fire.

I read somewhere that he has recently sold the Mercedes W125 and Maserati 250F.
Is the photo of a W125 in one of Simon Kidston's latest adverts coincidental?

I wonder who gets the collection when Bernie leaves us to organise a GP in heaven (or somewhere)? He has probably vested ownership in a series of proxies in Luxembourg, Jersey and the Caymans. I hope they don't fall into the hands the daughters who would probably use them as lawn furniture or something.
