Adelaide, 1:12.908. I don't have my splits here but hope to improve my turn 1 speed as it fell to 124 mph. I have gone through there above 135 many times and have seen other drivers hot laps that go through there +145 mph.

We've got an extra week to practice so can anyone get into the 1:10s? {;->

1.13 something, a strange lap. I had the loose wheel sign on for the half of the lap. The car was ill-handlig. After that I made 1.12 something, but I didn't save that one. Possibly I can go under 1.12.

1:11.686 Split1 24.743 Split2 44.138

I am into new territory with these times which are about 1.5 s faster than my previous best. I have concentrated on smooth transistions from braking to throttle in the slower corners with less screaching of tires and it has payed off. Happy, Happy! {;->

P.S. How about a point for fastest split, now that I've got one.

Time= 1.14.239
Split 1= 25.904
Split 2= 46.337

Would have been a bit faster on my flying lap
but braked a bit late at the end of Brabham Straight and had to scramble round

Here's the figures I got with HOF2.5.

Power 780 BHP, weight 1313 lbs, frame rate 25.6 FPS
Lap time 1:11.807 (split 1 0:24.257, split 2 0:43.699)

Biedavei, is it possible to save that data as text. It's painful to write.

My best so far 1:15.232. I use an analog joystick with free steer on and counter steering help on. Not the most precise method but I find this the most satisfying way to drive for me, I can try all sorts of alternate lines for entry speed, exit speed.
I would be interested to know what control setups other people use?

1:14.086 I am getting through the last timing section a bit smoother and no brakes on the corner 1, just lift and downshift! Very fun.

My "perfect" lap, I don't think I can go much faster with this setup.

New time, just scraping in front of Indyfan

1:13.448

Split 1- 24.921
Split 2- 44.874

The first split is nearly a tenth slower than my previous best, and I might be able to drag out a tenth on the final section, but really I think I'm hitting my limit!!

1:13.386

Split 1- 24.869
Split 2- 44.826

That's it, run out of practice time
