I used to get it regularly when I sponsoring a lad on the UK short circuits, its a very informative read, I still pick up the odd copy now and again if I see it on the shelf.
it's pretty much how MCN was in the good old days before it got turned into..........well don't get me started on that one!!
Most of all I enjoy Classic Racer nowadays, although its embarrassing to admit you used to own and race some of the bikes featured in a classic magazine when they were cutting edge technology!!

It's odd isn't it, you get massive crowds at BSB yet the only magazine that keeps going is Motorcycle Racer, a mag that I got the first 100 or so copies of then got fed up with Larry rolling our his mates every few months and the same old columns etc. The MCN comic seems to keep most people interested, but the sport section is now an add on to yet another spy shot, another department of transport whine and another group test from blokes that ride far quicker and better than most people so youa re supposed to value their opinion!
Best mag ever was RPM, more GP based, Road Racer was fine, but you never got any GP reports, only superbikes which was weird, some fascinating stuff though in features, and the relentless Ryder obsession with endurance racing, I got both mags in binders a few years back for abour 30 quid, bargain of the decade!
I got the early MCN sports from the 2000's, but the newwer ones are still very comic. The odler version were superb, possibly the best bike racing mag ever, some great features, good ideas.
BSN is very good, the website is too
