All I've got is a nice Ferrari parka that I picked up at the Portland cart race a few years back. It was raining down buckets and I was ill prepared. Once I bought this thing I was high and dry.

I think it's pretty close to the ones the team actually use, at least from what I can tell on tv...

Oh and I almost forgot my Lego Technic F1 car...;)

I have some wheel nuts. Two are from a 1995 Arrows which my brother picked up at the last Adelaide GP and another two are block mounted Benetton ones from last year which I won on a competition on their website.

Apart from that I have some Aus GP hats and programs plus autographs from Flavio Briatore, Johnny Herbert and some Japanese guy who I'm sure was Aguri Suzuki (everyone rushed over to this guy so I went too :D )

All i've got is a tear-off from Jacques Villeneuve at the British GP 1997 (fished out of the gravel for me by a kind marshal) and Alex Wurz's autograph, I can't afford 'official merchandise' yet (poor student ;) ) I have kept all my BGP tickets though

I've got stacks of magazines, I never throw them away so that means i've got hundreds of Autosport, Motoring News, F1 Racing etc etc. I've also got quite a few books (biogs, autobiogs)

I've gotten most drivers' autographs - this year at the AGP I got my favourite driver -> Jacques Villeneuve (finally! I've tried since the 1997 AGP). I've got most on the grid give or take a few, but Michael Schumacher has eluded me for a few years, as he is the only major signature I've yet to acquire.

Here's Jacques signing my photo this year at the Australian GP:
Posted Image. Btw, that's me in the black hat to the right.

I have got a few diecasts (just JV and Senna), I've kept my AGP passes, a few caps, and have got a few books and videos, that's about it. I'd like to have a collection of actual F1 cars one day - that'd be cool.

regards,
doohanOK.

Do scale models count as 'memrobilia'?
In that case, I'm all hooked up! I have dozens of Ferrari F1 models (mostly 1/43), and many more Ferrari Sports racers. And twice as many waiting in the wings. All are either built by me or by other pro-modellers. (Models are my life. Hobby, income and passion)

I also take a keen interest in books (again, I never really considered it 'memrobilia'). Pretty much any quailty book about F1 or Ferrari Sports Prototypes, I'll buy.

I also have a pack of Marlboro cigarettes lying around somewhere, and I'm almost certain I have a MasterCard. I'll have to ask the wife...;)

Scale models --- hubby is into collecting them. I find it rather expensive, but it brings him great joy. We don't have the shelving yet to properly display it. He's also afraid to display it, because we have a 5 year old who would play with them.

No autographs, but we have "F1 Art". Prints that we like we get professionally framed. The "frame it" place thinks weare nuts because we spent a fortune framing it right --- museum quality! We have a gorgeous original photo of Gilles Villeneuve at his win in Montreal, as well as a huge print from that same race. (We bought these in Chicago). I also have an original painting (water colour) of JV's 96 Williams. They look incredible framed -- although we do get lots of teasing from our non-f1 friends and family. The lesser quality pieces are laminated.

yes, several things.

1) Right rear mirror of Riccardo Patrese's Brabham in the GP of Imola 1984. It flew 1 foot from me when he crashed about 15 feet from me at the Acque Minerali.

2) Steering wheel of Arturo Merzario used on his Merzario in the GP of Brazil 1978

3) Gilles Villeneuve hat with signature from the GP of Brazil 1978 (he was wearing it and gave it to me, as I was at the Ferrari pit)

4) signed t-shirt (my own t-shirt!!!) by Carlos Reutemann at the GP of Brazil 1978

5) Jean Alesi's driving gloves from the GP of Italy, 1994

6) Poster signed by Jody Scheckter (picture of him on his T4) at the auto show in Rome around 1980

7) Piece of Gerard Berger's suspension form his Ferrari totalled at the Tamburello in Imola during the GP of San Marino (don't ask. I was at the Tosa but I had a friend who was a marshall, later gave it to me)

8) Brazilian flag signed by Ayrton Senna in Monaco before the 1992 GP of Monaco

 Wow, that must have been cool !

I've got Verstappen's Balaclava from the '98 Belgian GP. A team member gave it to me when we wouldn't leave the pit wall

Hope all that stuff is insured RedFever - a very impressive collection there!

Mine pales into comparison - a few autographs (Stewart and Cevert together on the programme for the 1973 German GP probably being the best) and heaps of old Autosports and Motorsports being the sum total.

RedFever: I want that too !! Keep those things insured and safe. Impressive collection.

I have a more ordinary and boring one....
JV cap
D Hill cap from his Jordan days
Season Review videos from the 84 season up until today...they are starting to take some space away now :)
Some books
And a whole stack of Autosports and F1 Racing magazines that definetly takes up too much space now.

But I want a LuckyStrike jacket so that's the next target rignt now ... I think.

I dun have any! Sigh, but i was quite tempted to buy MS's hat when i was in Thailand and M'sia last year. Fake ones of course but they look so REAL and the quality is pretty good too!! And of course they cost a fraction of the originals. Maybe i will get them end of the year when i make a trip back to M'sia. Might get some Ferrari t-shirts too. Or i guess i can fork out some money and order them from some shops around in Australia which probably will costs a bomb.

Thanks Pink Panther. This mechanic had to remove the cables from the pit wall and we were standing right in front of him whining about some souvenirs. We drove him crazy !

Btw, I was stupid, it was from '97 when he was racing with Tyrrell...:o

I had some time on my hands and wondered if I could scan it:

Posted Image

You can clearly see that Jos was No.2 in the team because they wanted to give it to Mika Salo first, but later decided to give it to Verstappen.

I have Damon Hill caps from his last three years, diecast models of the last five Jordans, a nosecone from a Jordan 191. I also have a bunch of Jordan patches and stickers. My wife went to visit her aunt in London and came back with a Jordan team jacket from 97 and a actual crew shirt. And I had Eddie Irvine sign a helmet at the US Grand Prix last year. That one is my wife's though, she loves Eddie. She knew nothing of F-1 racing before me, now she can identify a driver just by their helmet!

I have a McLaren T-shirt which I won in a competition sponsored by Mobil 1 early last year.

I don't have much merchandise because I would prefer to spend the money on buying books and old F1 races.

Ahhh CDNgrl, what a coincidence! You need displays for your hubby's model car collection and, well... I just happen to own JETPLAST Custom Displays!!! And guess what?? We specialize in scale model car displays!!

I have quite the die cast model collection which includes, among many things, all my most favourite Ferrari Street cars & every car Jacques Villeneuve has driven since CART! I've got many F1 posters, prints & photos but my most charished momento which is not F1 but racing related is the late Greg Moore's autograph. Signed to me "To Andy, All the best! Greg Moore 99" on the back of a Paddock Parking ticket stub from the '97 Canadian GP! :)

Oh ya, I also have every official "driver's cap" for JV since his start with Williams!

Lots of Jordan clothes, framed pic of Damon Hill 98 car and I suppose the highlight of my collection is a signed HHF framed pic of his 99 car.

I am the proud owner of a 2.5cm piece of carbon fibre from the smashed front wing of MS' 94 benetton. This became available to me at the conclusion of the 94 Adelaide GP.

I think MS was suffering from torque steer problems when his Benetton tacted into Hill's williams. :)

a) Well, he send card to all McLaren & Ilmore employees every year so theres no doubt quite a few, but still rare overall I guess.
b) DC forcing Heidi to sign a couple of hundred crds every year is no doubt the real reason they split :)

Oh ya, almost forgot! I have a 4 inch x 1.5 inch peice of carbon fibre from the rear wing of Eddie Irvine's Ferrari from the first corner crash at the Canadian GP in either '97 or '98 (can't remember now)! A friend of mine who was a track official on that corner picked it up for me.

Not strictly F1 - I have 2 magnums of Bisol produced fo Ferarri to celebrate their 50th aniversary - they come in presentation cases with certificates, etc. They made about 1000 of them - I believe one was given to every owner of an F50 and the others were given to good customers. I bought them at an auction.

I don't have any F1 stuff, but my husband has some original posters that he got as a child in the 60s. He used to write to the local sponsors and race tracks asking for programs and posters. He has orig. posters or race programs for Targa Florio, Monaco, Nurburgring 1000 km race, Le Man, GP of Holland. They're all in very good condition.

The man I buy slot cars from has one of Senna's helmets. He knew him back in the day when he designed racing suits for him. He has it up on the mantle above his desk in his shop. He knows all the drivers from that time. I think he used to teach open-wheel racing in France. He's a very interesting man and can tell you some good stories.
