Stirling Moss was entered in this race in his Cooper V11-JAP engined car (1100cc).
He did not take part in the race, due to having had an accident & being injured in same car during the Joe Fry Memorial Trophy (Formula 2 race) earlier in the day.
Does anyone know if Stirling Moss recorded a grid time for the Hastings Trophy race?
As Stirling Moss was at Castle Combe, and had also taken part in the Formula 3 race (heat) as well as the Formula 2 race, it would make sense that he recorded a practice time for the Formula Libre race.
Are any practice times available for this race?
