I'm about 1/2 a mile from Walthamstow Stadium (greyhound racing), which held stock car events in the fifties and sixties. Now been turned into "luxury apartments" after much local protest. There was a track in Artukainen in Turku that closed in 1989. It was one of those former airport tracks.

Hillclimbs would have included Silverdale, Amaroo Park, which others there?
Catalina Park and Hume Weir.
Lakeview, Lithgow, Parkes, Tamworth.

Of course, Hume Weir was in Victoria even though it was run by ADCC. Unthinkable that I didn't remember Catalina though.

I show my youth,, having competed at Mallala, AIR, Sandown, Winton and Philip Island. Tailem Bend Rallycross, and Collingrove, Mt Gambier and Mt Alma hillclimbs. And Lanac Pk for dirt sprints.
All still in use except for Tailem Bend Rallycross. Which is a couple of miles from the new circuit.
AIR may be on life support but is still there and used at least for drags. I believe the road coarse is still used for driver training on occasion
