(just in case you missed the shedule and Victor_RO's thread)
Press Release
The Unbalanced Nascar Trolls Threaders (TUNT Inc.) is proud to announce that the sequel to the box office hit Super Racing Sunday 2014 will hit theatres next weekend. Apply titled Super Racing Weekend 2014 - The Sequel, this subpar sequel boosts an overpaid star shinning cast of drivers and cars and many many absent minded tv commentators.
Why 2 days? Well, the great minds back at the office realised that 1+1 equals 2 and since we had no more ideas we decided to double the days since 2 is bigger than 1, we did not get the enough money to pay the F1 blokes to show up, but we got replacements in the form of bikes and Protolemans.
Hostilities have already kicked off with the qualifying for the support race in France, a Toyota is on pole, but it's not Kyle Busch, why not Sato? Well, he's not there, but a Nakajima (not the Satoro one) has the fastest lap, which is basically nothing considering it's a 24 hour race.
The Main Venue
Nascar Sprint Cup will continue it's summer series in the 2 mile oval of Michigan Speedway.
Facts (only the useless ones)
- Michigan is also the name of a great lake that borders the Michigan state, oddly enough, the area is known as Great Lakes
- Detroit is probably the most iconic city in Michigan, it certainly is the biggest, oddly enough, the actual capital is Lansing, even more odd, neither city borders Lake Michigan
- Detroid is the home of the John Wes Townley based character Robocop, an odd tin man who manages to get his mudane cars filled with odd bullets in every outing (for the record, the real JWT is from Georgia)
- A Michigan delicacy is pasty, oddly enough, described as...
HOT POCKETS! (by the way, Nestle has recalled some varieties of Hot Pockets)
- Roger Penske has owned the track in the past
- Michigan Speedway is located near Brooklyn, an oddly familiar name for New Yorkers, also odd, is that neither of these Brooklyns borders Lake Michigan
- The best known city to border Lake Michigan is Chicago, rival city of Detroit, oddly enough, Chicago is in Illinois State (im saving the Take me Back to Chicago rendition for the chicagoland thread, but here's a selfie from a helpfull citizen)
- The track is noted for being the sister of California Speedway (which oddly enough, is now named after the local auto club), also oddly enough, the track had a major role in the Split by hosting the infamous US 500 (free pasty for who manages to track down the also infamous trophy)
Trackside
So, what has happened so far?
- June Bug won 2 races in the same fiscal year!

- Danica's best result so far is NOT on a plate track! A top 7!
- Nascar officials showed what was missing last year in that crazy Indycar Houston race
- Austin Dillon remains missing, last GPS signals place him somewhere near the finish line at Daytona
- Everyone still hates Kyle Busch

You mentioned tv. What about tv?
Check your local broadcasters, if you are tired or have a stolen truck of cash to burn, wire the funds to the Nigerian Streaming Club, only actual american dollars accepted, we had a nasty problem with a little british dude trying to pay with a watch.
It's Sardine Time!
