I was doing a little research about David Clapham, a South African racing driver with some Non championship F1 races. I read that he was helping Jody Scheckter at the move to Europa. So does anyone have details how he helped him?

Wot? No list?? Top 5 of South African drivers who helped Jody Scheckter become World Champion, or top ten drivers helped by David Clapham???

I'm sure one of our South African experts can fill in more details, but it appears that Clapham was responsible for the inauguration of the Formula Ford Sunshine Series in which Scheckter made his name in 1970, and for the South African 'Driver to Europe' scheme which brought Jody to the UK.
