Dear historic motorsport friends,
The continuity of racing at the Boavista Circuit, in Oporto, Portugal is under threat.
With a tradition which goes back to the period of 1931 to 1933 and then again from 1951 to 1960, racing returned there in 2005 with a fabulous historic racing weekend, to be repeated twice each two years, for both Historic Racing and a WTCC event.
We urge all historic motorsport fans across the world to sign a petition at:
http://peticaopublic...ircuitoBoavista
This petition for the return of racing at the Boavista urban race track, is directed to The President of Portugal’s Touring Office, João Cotrim de Figueiredo, The Lord Mayor of the City of Oporto, Rui Moreira, The Secretary of State of Sports, Emídio Guerreiro, and The Secretary of State of Touring, Adolfo Mesquita.
Please help us with your kind input, to gather all the strength we need for this endeavour.
Thanks in advance for your support.
