Slightly off topic and some shameless self promotion but I designed a couple of Indy 500 DVD's as a hobby and I was wondering what you thought (spoilered for size):
Feedback's appreciated, but don't be too harsh as I'm certainly not an expert.

Thanks for sharing, it's always fun to see such mock-ups.
I especially like the following, and since you asked for some feedback I'll nitpick a bit:
1999 - Simple but effective, the logo and the design flow together very well. The car on the bottom is nicely centred, but this means the helmet is dangling off somewhat to the right, just under the pointed end of the logo.
2003 - Nice combination, though I'm a little puzzled why you didn't align the colour change with the banner. It almost lines up perfectly!
2005 - Another nice combination, and the colours on the two drivers (the 7-Eleven logo especially) aren't even all that distracting. However, what can be distracting is that he looks to the lower right and she looks to the upper left; humans focus on faces and tend to follow their gaze.
Like I said, nitpicking.

What you should have done is fill most of the space with WAGs then reserve a small box on the bottom left for anything relevant to racing. No doubt it would be more representative of the coverage therein.

Cool.
Love the pictures you used for 2002.

Well done, keep designing!
