Very sad to hear this news his JS11 in 1979 was a great car that never filled it's full potential .
And his great results at LeMans with the MATRA'S .

Sad news indeed. The 97/98T Lotus cars are amongst my favourite of all time.

Very, very sad news...
A great engineer passed away. Man of character and a great passion for his job. A prominent figure in the French F1 for over thirty years.

A very sad moment. To me, he will always remain an intrinsic part of the Ligier glory years. RIP.

Very sad. I remember Mario Andretti suggesting a name change to Gerardo Ducarosso when they were both at Alfa Romeo (1981 ?).

The Ducarouge-designed Lotus' were always particular favourites of mine, elegantly simple, perfectly proportioned, there's nothing fussy about them visually, they just "look" right and performed accordingly.
