Seriously ..... I like resurgence of Ferrari this year and Mclaren Honda's amazing size zero.

Sorry? What were you saying? ;-)Seriously ..... I like resurgence of Ferrari this year and Mclaren Honda's amazing size zero.
The tension of the start. The race to the chequered flag. And open cockpits. Qualifying as it is now is not bad.

I like:
- The engine tech
- Spa, Monza, Melbourne, Cota, Silverstone
- Lazy Sundays curled up on my sofa
- Watching FP1&FP2 on DVR after work.
- That it’s not football – the look of people’s barely contained contempt when you say you prefer F1, excludes me from so much inane banter at work.
- The constant underestimation of Lewis, he always comes back and rubbish some pundits/posters ‘expert’ analysis…usually by the end of lap 1
- Spotting another F1 fan whilst out and about (bonus points for wearing a defunct team T-shirt etc)
- The illusion that FOM,FIA, F1 Teams can work together without self interest
- Ferrari
- McLaren getting continuously schooled – what goes around comes around, and by extension Red Bull’s current slump. I like to see arrogant entitled teams pulled down a peg or three
- Being so engrossed in live timing you barely notice the tv feed
- Murray Walker has retired
- People devoting hours of their lives writing out long boring monologues to look credible about how XYZ isn’t actually a good driver and is overrated – 9/10 the subtext is….I don’t like him, I think he’s a d**k
- Silverstone – I live so close I can hear the cars on track most weekends
- Silverstone 2008, Spa 1998, Monaco 2008, Hakkinen 1998-2000
- The weird unPC slightly 1970’s BBC feel with all the pit girls, simpering reporters, daytime soap actresses (aka driver press officers)
- Alan McNish, James Allen, Martin Brundle, Eddie Jordan, Damon Hill
- That Alonso is a complete s**t sometimes but we love him still
- Podcasts – Hi, my name is Alan McNish and you’re listening to….
- The ultimate team aspect of the sport – ie the driver is the top of a huge support network, all geared towards winning
- Martin Brundle lecturing viewers on how to win a race despite never winning in F1, whilst Herbert and WDC Hill look on meekly and don’t interject with actual real stories of winning
- ≈20 Sunday’s of the year being excused from chores/weddings/social conduct/life whilst watching overpaid guys go round in circles for 2 hours
- JS continually out of touch bi*ching about Lewis, smacks more of jealousy than objectivity most of the time
- F1 Timing app
- Alonso, Vettel, Hamilton, Grosjean
- Liveries
- Qualifying
I don't expect many to agree with what I like, there'd be no forums if all thought the same.

I LOVE the starts. Every single race, the tension builds up to unbearable levels just for the 10 seconds before the lights go out. No other sport gives me such a buzz when I watch it.
I've actually been getting severe heartburn recently during the starts as I get so pumped. I had to take a Rennie for the Bahrain and China races!

Onboard HD view on a large TV....Monaco
Are the onboards actually HD? Compared to rest of coverage, they seem a bit... foggy.
