Though experts will often cite plunging TV figures and increasingly-sparse attendance at races for proof of NASCAR's steady downward coasting into irrelevant oblivion, the most confident proof I can provide is that even as recently as two years ago there was a thread for each race posted days in advance the first time a car was on track that weekend, and now it's almost a day after a genuinely good finish in the Busch race and at Talladega of all places and there's still no thread to cry about Logano winning again, or any Cup guy winning again. Which means people don't even care enough to bitch. That is a serious problem.
(Not to mention the guy who finally made your thread is from a country your main series doesn't even go to, made the thread in a hung over stupor on a Sunday morning with 9/10ths of the racing weekend done at his favorite oval of all the ovals NASCAR goes to, and was beaten to the US racing series thread making punch by a guy completely on the other side of the world who hopes your race ends quickly so he doesn't miss the start at Laguna Seca).
So let's get it over with:
Who is going to win today? Does NASCAR want Danica to stay or go?
(Btw if you click on Jeff you go to the Jayski page for today's race)
