The Red Bull nose resembles the Toro Rosso's, but with the thumb perhaps starting a little further back.

alonso rally driving in the mclaren, looks terrible, no rear grip out of corners.

This onboard view of Alonso is one of the best onboards I have seen in a long time. You can see how everything is moving and punching the driver!

Mercedes are a country mile ahead...
Early days, Ferrari might still be evaluating their updates and finding the right setup so not definitive yet. Although I prefer the outcome you suggest

Weekend is still young though

It's a bit of a joke when a team like Williams sidelines a driver like Bottas (or Massa) for a driver likte Susie Wolff in a practice session.

Alonso not yet ready for the move to drift racing... but nice 360 indeed.

He drove into the pits, found no one there and went on.

Can you elaborate?
He came to his pit, looking to stop, but nobody was waiting for him, so he just carried on in the pit lane for one more lap.

JB reports over the radio to McLaren that "the balance is completely wrong with this wing". Forward a few minutes later, FA spins it.

It's as if Renault get to 5 mins before practice starts and go "Blimey, practice is on son, better stop the chin-wagging and get to work preparing the engine". What the hell do the teams do in the lead-up to a race. Get it bloody sorted!!
They're French.
Don't rush them.
Meanwhile, the Germans, Italians and Japanese (weren't they on the same side recently?) seem to have a plan that doesn't actually involve explosions...

Okay, that is a picture I never expected to see. Wolff only 0.8 slower than Massa. Were their times comparable or did she get a low-fuel run?

It seemed that Mercedes were running different set-ups on their two cars: high downforce for Lewis and low downforce for Nico. The difference through the speed traps was huge. So not too much can be read into their drivers' comparative lap times yet.

#F1: speed trap: #Hamilton 335,6 km/h, #Rosberg 319 km/h. Looks like a very different setup. More downforce for Rosberg. #Mercedes
