100 laps in, Truex leading.

I found a channel supposedly showing some racing but all there was to see was some cars parked with covers on top

It's quite ironic the amount of rain affected races NASCAR has. It seems like they have a delay pretty much every single race.
Posted 10 May 2015 - 01:04
Red flag for rain after 98 laps. Top five is Troox, Harvick, Kurt, Candy Cane, Kyle Larson.
Far be it from me to give anyone or anything **** for not being great after season 3, but
I'm convinced during this red flag you will laugh at least twice.

lol... I was waiting to see if anyone would bother
Please, if it's not any trouble, rate it 5 stars. I gotta keep my stats up.
Open up your wallet.

Just got home. It's 6 AM over here in goddamn Eastern Europe and the only thing I got to go home with me is a glass of whiskey.
Truth be told, I was too hungover/'don't care to do anything about it' to get some tail to annoy in four hours because: 'oh sorry, I know you are kind of wasted but GP3 is on right now'. You know?
But hey, whiskey and Nascar. Boogity?
Posted 10 May 2015 - 03:12
The race is back on after the rain delay.
Posted 10 May 2015 - 03:18
all nighter...
Posted 10 May 2015 - 03:20
If Truex wins I'll just get drunk again.
Posted 10 May 2015 - 03:30
It's weird. NASCAR has a long and appreciated history of restarting rain-delays at impossible times of the night, but the novelty of being able to see real, live racing at 11:30pm when you just know any other series would have given up by 5 o'clock has yet to wear off.
I feel slightly delirious that it's 6:29 AM and I'm watching a live night race. Gotta' love being a Motorsports fan.
Posted 10 May 2015 - 03:52
Oh **** eh. Kurt and Joey are going at it.
I guess since Kurt knows he won't go to jail for smacking a bitch around he doesn't mind trading paint with Logano.
Posted 10 May 2015 - 03:54
No worries. I am and always will be a complete diehard stubborn ****. Sundays are really holy just for the simple fact that I find seeing rich bastards race expensive cars in circles hours on end. That will never change.
The opposite sex can wait. After all 'racing is life'.
This rules.

Again, I have to reiterate - my hate for Logano has no end.

Commentator Curse on the kid driving the 18
The part when they flat out said: he was raised well, he listens to what his momma says, made me wanna puke a little.

Don't tell me you don't listen to your mamma now.
I tell myself I do.

Hamlin had a point there.

I didn't drink against the grain. I just like being a certain kind of loveable complaining bastard.
My spirits are high but my body's mood is down 'cause I can't mix scotch, wine, beers, and other assortment of shots like I used to.
Also money. Also women. Also if Harvick wins I'll be pissed.

The many gratuitous Mother mentions would tie to Mother's Day being Sunday in North America. Which is also why Saturday gets crammed with races here. I don't recall whether Indycar or NASCAR started it, but the tradition has long been no racing on Mother's Day.
Posted 10 May 2015 - 05:05
C'mon Truex, make my day.
By the way, I did not know that the 10th of May is Mother's Day across the pond. Normally that's the 8th of March over here in Yurrope.

Where did that win come from?
Well, at least it isn't Harvick.

I tried harder to find a stream for tonight's race than I tried to find the G-spot in grade 9, and all I got was Jimmie Johnson.

Hah! And I still didn't miss the GP3 / GP2 races.
Take that need for sleep and my innards.
I won't give up that Truex hope. He'll win Sonoma. Write that down.

News and notes on EVERY driver...
Those are the results for the 2005 Spongebob Squarepants 400.
Why do I think it's 2005? No, it's not the liquor. It's the fact that it must be 2005 and not even NASCAR.com could possibly believe that autoplaying videos halfway through 2015 is a good way to keep people on your site.

A special breed.
Your new avatar is exactly how I imagine Denny dealing with just basic stuff in his life.

Sweet Aleshin is never coming back. I just gotta deal with it, bro.
This new avvy is not a joke, though. As a mentally-ill man who goes by a fakish name, struggles with everyday tasks, misses Jason Leffler, and has never ever ever been happy under 120mph, I naturally identify very strongly with James Hamlin.

I have a stupid question.
What is a competition yellow, a yellow flag for the sake of a yellow flag? Did somebody one day wake up and thought 'hey, wouldn't it be a good idea with more yellow flags?'?

NASCAR undoubtedly believes yellow flags are good for business, but the competition yellow is somewhat legitimate. NASCAR likes to throw competition cautions when the track itself somehow has changed between the last practice session and the actual race, usually because it's rained heavily in the intervening time but there are any number of a thousand reasons why NASCAR might do this. Including a handy, safe excuse to bunch the field up. Gives the teams a chance to check the tires and the data and make sure they haven't made any horrible, horrible mistakes which Mother Nature may have amplified by raining away all the rubber laid down on the track.
