2/10. I was bored and struggling to keep my eyes open for the vast majority of it. The best way I can describe it is this: It was a normal Spanish Grand Prix (in other words very dull, not a lot to talk about, not a lot happening, and struggling to stay awake due to it being so uninteresting).
Of course they've just extended their contract too, so we have many more snorefests to come at this track (as is quite common).

It was horrible to see empty grandstands and awful racing. I'm not a doom mongerer, but it felt that this race barely even did justice to the word 'sport'.
I'd say Bottas was the best driver, he had a real fight on his hands. Rosberg was unchallenged but got the job done.
Bottas-Rosberg-Vettel for me
Worst driver, eh? Who cares
Best Team? Probably Ferrari. Solid weekend, very very consistent.
Overtaking wise, I don't know if it counts but Hamilton's defence from Bottas at the start was awfully crucial.
Best moment was probably the theatre of the pit stop gaffes. Every time I see Alonso's I am sure he's going to seriously injure some mechanics, he did an absolutely stirling job. I'm not sure many drivers would've escaped a bad situation there.
DRS was overpowered but no one could get close enough to use it.
Tyres were trash, too hard and are useless in dirty air.
I hope Monaco is much, much better.

5/10 (I'm being generous)
Best driver: Rosberg for his domination of the race after a difficult few weeks. Bottas and Ricciardo also starred.
Worst Driver: Grosjean for his clumsy arrival to his pit box, and for his rather embarrassing excuse. Could have been Sainz for his dangerous direction changes in the braking zone for turn 1.
Best team performance: Ferrari for trying to use Raikkonen to back the Mercedes into Vettel.
Best overtake: Ricciardo on Sainz on lap 6.
Best moment: Grosjean's front jack man taking the laughter from his colleagues in good spirit when he appeared on the world feed with an ice pack on his wedding vegetables.
DRS: Just sufficiently effective to enable some overtaking.
Tyres: Too hard I thought, but you can't blame Pirelli for being conservative.
Race in a sentence: As expected from Barcelona, not a great race by any definition, but at least it's out of the way now.

Generous 5, as I didn't fall asleep (unlike China) and there was a lot of anticipation of excitement, but it never quite happened. For Barcelona it was pretty bog standard though.

A 1. I can't find anything remote to remember it by. It was dull, uninteresting and we are back to square 1 with saving everything. There was zero threat of Mercedes not finishing 1-2. Then you have an overpowered DRS (already saw it wreaking havoc in GP2) and we saw a few driveby's.

4/10
F1 is dead yada yada yada, you know the rest.
Best overtake though: how Kimi handled the toro rossos in the first lap, while the UK commentators were circle jerking about how Hamilton is the best driver in the world.
Those moves from Kimi, right there, great stuff.
After that, meh.

Rated it 4/10. After this 'spectacle' it's all the more unfortunate that the next race is Monaco.
Best Driver Performance: Bottas and Vettel both made the most of the circuit's characteristics to keep some fast competitors behind.
Worst Driver Performance: Nothing really comes to mind? The Toro Rosso guys fell back further than I expected.
Best Team Performance: Mercedes, dominant once more, even with a few rocky pitstops.
Best Overtake: Räikkönen's first lap battle with the Toro Rosso pair was good.
Best Moment: Alonso's save during his impromptu pitstop - that could have been nasty.
DRS: Probably helped by the wind, but way too strong. It lost some of its power once everyone was on old tyres.
Tyres: The difference between the compounds was huge, and it seemed the hard compound gave the teams a lot of trouble throughout the weekend.
And the race in a sentence: Let's keep this track for testing, and have the race elsewhere.

Worst Driver Performance: Don't think anybody did anything daft. Even Pastor was unlucky this time out.
Best Team Performance: Mercedes, albeit not flawless
Best Overtake: Danny Ric on somebody at some point- would need to watch again. It was nicely worked.
Best Moment: Hamilton gaining his extra pitstop back to be able to finally leapfrog Vettel
DRS: Not the right solution to the problem of Catalunya
Tyres: Ok
And the race in a sentence... Typical race for this track. 5/10

Best Driver Performance: Maldonado. He gained four positions in the opening laps with some nice DRS passes. Then he dropped back with a broken rear wing, but that didn't stop him from making more DRS passes.
Worst Driver Performance: Hamilton, who couldn't get past Vettel with DRS.
Best Team Performance: Williams seemed to have a strong package in the DRS zones.
Best Overtake: Massa on Verstappen for P6. DRS again. It was so easy!
Best Moment: On lap 32 when Hamilton had made his second stop. He decided to switch to a three-stop strategy as he couldn't overtake Vettel on the track, but now he rejoined behind Kimi – who was planning to stay out for another nine laps. Overtaking Kimi was crucial, or Hamilton's chances of getting past the other Ferrari would go up in smoke. And he did it! On the first attempt, with DRS! That was one very exciting lap.
DRS: Clearly underpowered as Hamilton couldn't overtake Vettel and Kimi couldn't overtake Bottas.
Tyres: What about them?
And the race in a sentence... About as memorable as this post.

Don't worry the next race is Monaco, which is always 2 hours of pure excitement!
I agree though, this track has never been good for F1. It's actually a pretty nice track for MotoGP and less aero-dependent cars, but with F1 cars it's usually a snoozefest.

4/10
Best Driver Performance: No-one stood out. I'll give it to Bottas.
Worst Driver Performance: Pastor Maldonado?
Best Team Performance: Mercedes, for reacting to the situation and daring to go for a 3-stopper.
Best Overtake: Kvyat on Verstappen maybe.
Best Moment: Kimi's opening lap
DRS: I really have no idea what to think of it. Some cars flew past others (everyone flew past the Toro Rossos), whereas others couldn't pass (Hamilton on Vettel; Räikkönen on Bottas). This track sucks for overtaking, and trying to alleviate that by making the DRS even more powerful would be the wrong way to go.
Tyres: Yes, there were tyres.
And the race in a sentence... A real snooze fest. Not that Monaco will be any more exciting, but at least the scenery/atmosphere will be nicer.

Best Driver Performance: I want to say Bottas but Rosberg did pretty well.
Worst Driver Performance: Hard to say....I'm going to say Grosjean for inflicting a crotch injury in a game that isn't a ball-sport.
Best Team Performance: Ferrari - managed to make life difficult for Mercedes when Merc bumbled their strategies.
Best Overtake: Alonso on his pit crew
Best Moment: Duelling STRs
DRS: Made things even more predictable
Tyres: Did anyone really expect them to be a factor on a track they've done thousands of testing miles at? Why do they even race here?
And the race in a sentence...I have a feeling some people would be rating this higher if the finishing order of the Mercedes cars had been the other way around....

Worst Driver Performance: Nobody that awful, really.
Best Team Performance: Mercedes. Yawn.
Best Overtake: KVY on VES, look at all those sparks fly!
Best Moment: A good start, Maldonado's battles all over until his karma kicked in.

Exactly - although I gave it a 3/10 as I just love F1. This race was only made entertaining by the live chat on Autosport live....
Best Driver Performance: Alonso (he made that McLaren Honda fly!)
Worst Driver Performance: Pastor Maldonado (how blind and un-circumspecting can you be?)
Best Team Performance: Mercedes
Best Overtake: which overtake?
Best Moment: Fernando throwing his vizor into his front brake duct - it takes some strength and forward thrust to achieve this feat!
DRS: Kimi on Valteri and still not getting through
Tyres: last time we will see the hard tyre for quite some time. Why? - Well, does it not beautifully suit the Mercedes?

People need to stop ripping on the 2000's. Cars themselves were just stunning to look at and apart from 2002 and 2004, the Schumi years were mega. 2003 and 2000 are two of the best seasons ever. This race? 4/10. Not great.

It's just a bit unfortunate that these two races are scheduled right after one another.

I think he was being sarcastic dude. Pretty much every race at Catalunya is shite, and the emasculated final corners make it even worse. That chicane doesn't aid overtaking so why the hell do they still use it?!
I gave the race a 5. It was a usual dull Catalunya affair but Vettel jumping Hamilton and Merc screwing his pitstop up at least gave us something to watch up at the sharp end.

4/10 only because there were some interesting actions further back.
The Mercedes car makes any driver look like a hero, but the stagnation of the pecking order has also created a dull race. Only the two Toro Rosso drivers doing battle with each other and anyone else was the interesting part of the race.
