According to the UK 'Daily Mail', Ron Dennis delivered a 'motivational' speech to the McLaren team prior to Monaco.
The paper reveals that:
McLaren chairman Ron Dennis tells team staff to pull their fingers out after point-less start and blasts racing director Eric Boullier
- McLaren chairman Ron Dennis shocked 500 staff with criticism of them
- He singled out Eric Boullier and said he had had 'a good kick in the a***'
- One member of staff said the post-race debrief was negative to morale
Tough talking Ron is not known for his people skills.
But a McLaren spokesperson, when challenged, insists that Ron's remarks were good humoured and taken entirely out of context.
Jenson Button, also challenged about his comments in Spain, has also changed his story about 'the scariest laps of his life' and is now saying he may have exaggerated.
