Another non event. F1 Is dying.

I don't mind seasons where one team dominates but then with one caveat.. namely that team has 2 drivers who are both as good as each other. So Alonso and Hamilton together in 2017 would be great though the chance of seeing it happen is virtually nil.. That and a properly resurgent Ferrari will make it bearable again.

Best Driver Performance: A few jump to mind - Kvyat, Hamilton and Massa all get my vote. (Vettel for the race but he gets dq for his Friday actions)
Worst Driver Performance    : Difficult choice - Grosjean ruined what was a very good performance with 1 stupid error. Daniel and Kimi were fairly disappointing.
Best Team Performance: Mercedes
Worst Team Performance: errr (I'm not going to say it :( ) Actually I give it to Ferrari, that car should have been on the podium but for several mistakes through the weekend (there now I feel better).
Best Overtake: Massa on Ericsson
Best Moment: Fernando nurfing Vettel off track. No-one passes Fernando like that - even in an underpowered car :)
DRS:It should be removed from all Mercedes and Ferrari powered cars ;)
Tyres: Interestingly a 1 stop race - at the track where this whole 'degrading tyres produce great races' idea was thought up.
And the race in a sentence Well managed by Merc on a track which really shows their engine advantage. Some fun battles further down the field (mainly courtesy of Massa and Vettel being out of position)kept it interesting enough.

Best Driver Performance: Bottas,  closely followed by Hamilton.
Worst Driver Performance  Grosjean and Kimi each made one glaring mistake but overall it has to be Ricciardo.
Best Team Performance: Force India
Worst Team Performance: Team Rhonda
Best Overtake: Massa on Ericsson, Verstappen on Nasr.
Best Moment: Alonso's discussions with his team
DRS: should only be allowed for Honda and Renault powered cars  :D
Tyres: supersofts clearly too conservative. Fail.
And the race in a sentence Not a great Canadian GP but it kept me pretty interested right until the end because of all the battles through the field. A Mild Seven.
