I think the durability of the tires is fine. i'd like to see softer compounds and not to be overlooked, tires with a wide operating temperature range. These tires are junk in this regard.

This is a little contradictory.

The 'overtaking opportunity' would also come with cars that are able to push. It also comes from cars being out of position, gambling on fuel strategy, etc. The tyres are not the only way of differentiating strategy but insisting of having two compounds per race because 'reasons' means we accept there is a time by default that the cars will have to go slower than they can. It's unnecessary.

I don't really understand who you are so opposed to different compounds. It increases overtaking opportunities by having more strategic possibilities. One compound decreases strategic possibilities. We already had bullet proof tires in 2010 and I don't remember better racing. Quite the contrary, races were processional. Mercedes would lap everyone every race. This is good?

Yea because races totally aren't processional now, are they? I suspect some people have rose-tinted views of the world whenever their favourite driver is winning.

I'll leave this quote from Mitch Evans here:

Pretty epic to be judged as a standout performer at Le Mans. Was mega to be able to PUSH every single lap on single set of tyres for 3 hours... Yep enough said.

F1 won't be interesting if the drivers don't find it interesting.
