Hi all - I'm looking for any articles about the Ford P68 / F3L built by Alan Mann Racing - either in period or recently?

If anyone has copies / scans of these or a link to such things I'd be enormously grateful...

If you haven't found it already, Tom, in this earlier thread there are mentions of, links to, and even a couple of photocopies of some of the magazine articles on the cars. Sadly, most of the photos posted are no longer available:

tjmann, the P68 is a car I particularly like, and variants such as the P69 & the Ford Honker Can-Am machine. I'm sure that someone here will quickly find the Classic & Sports car article. I know I have it,but can't get to it at the moment. I have the following, in which the car got coverage.

Superfords magazine, issue 5, march 1994...7 pages, including a brief bit from David Piper about the car.

Historic Motor Racing, vol. 1 # 5 april/may 2001...10 pages on Frank Gardner, in which he talks about his time with the P68 & P69, one photo of each car.

MotorSport august 1995...6 pages on the F3L, numerous photos, written by PTF ?

MotorSport august 2001...7 pages track test of the P68 at the Ring, written by Paul Fearnley, maybe the same author as above ?

Specialist British Sports/Racing Cars of the Fifties & Sixties Anthony Pritchard, pub. 1986 by Osprey...3 1/2 pages on the P68 & P69

and of course the Alan Mann book, which devotes 23 pages to the '68 & '69 efforts.

if any of these are of interest to you pm me and I can scan them for you. I cannot post photos here.

"Model Cars" July 1968, (in their "Prototype Parade" series).
4-page article by Roger Taylor with good pictures by David Windsor (overall and detail), plus line drawings and cross-sections and detail info for scale modellers.
