An article has cropped up on the red-top* IT site regarding the use of IT by the Lotus F1 team.
It gives, at least to an ex-wirehead like me, an interesting insight in the specific issues that an F1 team faces with its IT provisions - having to build an fairly big IT center every 2 weeks or so, the climate/environmental issues, handling the volume of traffic generated, and a wee bit about the amount of work this creates - a material change to the car every 7 minutes, though precisely what a material change is is not specified...

*EDIT: red-top = tabloid. The material on the site is very variable, ranging from fascinating, to salacious, to whatever the hacks happen to be interested in.
