eh, Stoffel did excellent overall not just Q3 time but it's been obvious from pre-season testing that Honda motor improooov'd fair bit which is what enabled his performance
SV has been consistently outperforming his teammate since winter testing anyway, and this quali performance further cemented that trend which is good.
one thing to note is that Honda has weaker team, Mugen and dandelion is their top teams but even them are not up to those Toyota top teams atm imo
Yamamoto and Mugen has always been lonely Honda powered machine to mix with Toyotas in the past 2 years and now he's on pole which is natural. Now with improved Honda motor and Stoffel in it, this season shud be fascinating one, hopefully.

These cars are pretty quick. Watching the onboards they look faster and more exciting than today's F1 cars.

They don't just look faster. They ARE faster in corners...
Only 550bhp. It's amazing when you look at the basic aero and wings compared to f1.

current car SF14 has no ground effect ie wing car underbody but has physically sealed diffuser (some pics of the car can be found in page 1).
another key aspect is chassis weight, it's quite light, minimum weight 660kg with driver, so with full tank fuel it's another 70+kg approximately. (i think lighter car is the way to go. F1 has hybrid power unit so it has to be heavier but still it can be lighter and at least going lighter shud be the direction)

Yet some people want F1 to drastically reduce downforce on the cars to make passing easier....
