[Maj William Brown]

I have always been a huge fan of German driver Volkert Merl.  Does anyone having a mailing address for him?  I have an electric slot car in 1/32nd scale that I'd love Volkert to autograph.  I've always been a fan of Reinhold Yoest's many teams and Volkert drove for him for years.  I may be emailed also at:     williamibrown53@yahoo.com      Thanks in advance.  I ask all this because I thoroughly enjoy talking to former drivers, many rather ignored by modern day racing, in particular by the current drivers who don't give a damn about guys like Volkert that paved the way for those today that benefit from the massive publicity racing now has.  Regards, Major William Brown in the USA (I recently spent time at Daytona 24 Historics with Brian Redman, Jim Pace, Gijs van Lennep, Jurgen Barth, Jochen Mass, Dieter Quester, and Charlie Kemp (Can-Am); all great guys who are so fan friendly.
