Hey, I just got a new wheel. The Wingman Formula GP non FF wheel. Whenever I play TOCA 2 or Colin McRae Rally, the wheel jumps all over the place, and no matter how far I turn down the sensativity it still is really touchy. Any suggestions? Please help

No... but maybe you can help me...
I have a Microsoft precision racing wheel.... after playing the game for a while something happens to the controller; either the brake pedal quits, the gas pedal quits, or the steering loses calibration.
Anybody have the same problem?

I have enough problems with my Wingman Formula Force to be dealing with all your problems too.

At least McRae Rally can feel very jumpy if you're not used to a wheel. Turn down the sensitivity and practice. It can be tricky to get the car round the sharp corners without the handbrake and you'll lose some time, but once you feel comfortable turn up the sensitivity and you should be able to handle it.
It took me a few days to get up to speed with a (non-FF) wheel. I had a lot of practice with a joystick (hundreds of hours on GP1 and GP2) so it might take you longer if you've been using a keyboard.

I have the cheaper LWFF GP, too, and it toolk me a while in Gran Prix Legends to get the spikes to stop. It tool a lot of fine adjusting the sensitivity and forces, but now it seems great. And don't forget to play around with the deadzone. No doubt, though, it would be nicer to have a more robust wheel, but this one does for now. In CMR, don't forget that you are hitting bumps all the time, as well. GPL has a core.ini file that lets you adjust the forces - I don't know about your games.

Simpson, thanks alot. It is actually all racing games. I will give that a shot tonight. I downloaded updated drivers for the soundcard(gameport) and that helped quite a bit, but still a little spikes.
