I have always wanted to know this, and I hope at least 1 of you guys can help me out.
When its rainning, what is used to prevent water from getting inside the cockpit? Or they don't use anything and just let the car get flooded and let the the driver drown inside?!?
Thanks, and cheers.;)

The air flow prevents the rain from getting into the cockpit for the most part. So the driver really doesn't get wet.

Even when water does enter the cockpit, and not soak the driver, they have small run-off areas in there that are shaped to channel water out the back.

You have taken the race car construction word "Tub" too literally.
