Great news for Canadian fans.

TSN announced an exciting new partnership with Sky Sports that provides Canadian viewers with Sky Sports’ award-winning broadcast coverage of the FIA Formula One World Championship.

As part of the new partnership, TSN will deliver expanded pre-race and post-race coverage for all 21 races on the F1 calendar – added on top of the network’s existing practice and qualifying coverage. All season long, fans will have access to the following new content: Source

Must agree super value and a definite upgrade from the BBC, along  with 5 channels and on line streaming, the British Open and Wimbledom don't interrupt F1.

I didn't like the pre-race show for Australia, but it will probably get more interesting as the season goes on. The commercial breaks during the race were maddening though, they could at least split the screen to show the race on one and the ads on the other like they used to do with the BBC broadcast.

edit: Also, dump Croft and replace him with Coulthard please.

Where are you based? Here in Toronto they went side by side. Rogers/TSN here.

"Sky Sports’ award-winning broadcast coverage"

Award-winning!?

What award was that, the Bernie Ecclestone award for wallet stuffing?

Probably the FIA award. I think the BBC was also a recipient at one time.

I'm quite happy to have Kravitz.  I don't know how Martin manages.

FOM international broadcaster of the year in 2012 and 2013, so most likely.

To be fair though we all like to complain about Sky, but it is still worlds apart from what other countries get.

So 2.5 hours before the race and around 1 hour after...That is called a coverage.

I'll check it for Barhain but I'm not sure I will spend 5 hours in front of my TV...Even for Formula 1.

The RDS coverage, 30 minutes before and 30 after the race is a really good coverage format.

Thats's good News. Hopefully it will also translate to the tsn coverage on my iPhone tv. I'm glad to also have the pre and post race shows, I grew tired of RDS coverage after 20+ years. Glad to have Martin and co legally.
