The annual Rock and Roll Rendevous was on 10/4/16 and as usual quite well attended, Rain threatened all day but the best was a bit of mist.

As usual I took pics of cars that took my eye. No particular type or reason!013.jpg014.jpg015.jpg016.jpg These were taken on my ph as I managed to leave the camera home yet again.

As would be expected several of the attendees were also earlier at the Tanunda Swap.

Pic 1 Moggy LoLife convertible

2 Tick the option box FJ ute. The sedan in the background was oh so original. I feel never restored. The extreme background shows a P38,, which had no plate PEE038

3 A95

4 48 Holden van that must have shrunk in the wash!

1 As most know a 57 Chev, though with a few mods and accesories.Modern a/c, alternator, electric fans and modern p/s pump.

2 EH Holden 'Custom'. Just a little over the top!

3 Nice original Galaxie.

4 HR Premier with a few extras,, Disc brakes, Power Steer,X2 carbs and headers.

That Phoenix is a '63, Lee...

And there were genuine 186 X2 HRs.

I wasnt sure of 62 or 63 with the Phonebox

The HR came with X2 early on but this car was not originally fitted, no badges, 186P engine number and std dash.

You can bet the Hunchie ute  at the top was not factory/ dealer fitted with all the 'bling'

'62 was like the R-series...

'Hunchie"? I Guess you mean the FJ ute with two external mirrors on the driver's side!

A few more. The turquiose page!

1 56 Chev Belair 2 door.

2 56 Chevvy wagon towing a cupboard! The background autumn color is a great backdrop.

3 EH Special. Does anyone know the offical color?  I had a sedan white with Marlin Turquoise roof decades ago and I am sure it was a little darker than this car. Which is a factory color.047.jpg048.jpg049.jpg
