Western Australia's 'Around the Houses' circuits sometimes varied, but it's probably likely that the only change to a circuit between practice day and race day was at Northam in 1952...
This gets a mention in AMS in which it describes some near misses and then a pretty nasty crash by Bill Hayes, all attributed to a small depression in the road on the fastest straight... Wellington Street.
It then tells of the circuit being altered to send the cars 'around the Town Hall block' to eliminate this risk.
Does anyone know any more? Exactly what route did the circuit then take?
