Eddie Maher was chief development engineer at BMC's 'Morris Engines' plant in Coventry in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. He could get more power out of their engines than anyone except, perhaps, Downton.

I would like to acquire a photograph of Eddie, but I am finding that difficult. Can anyone help me ?

Graham, did you find a photo of Eddie?

I've just stumbled upon a photo of him in John Brigden's The Sporting Minis book.

Yup- just one - at the launch of the MG EX181 project. But no others. The man was a modest genius ....
