Very sad but all too common an occurrence, lately.

I took this at Monaco in 1965.

Indeed, very sad news. I saw an ex Picko Lola at Portimao last year, beautifully restored.

Your photo could also be posted in the transporters thread.

Very sad news indeed. At least that explains somewhat why he stopped running his racing team recently.
Great enthusiast, great personality, Great moustache.

Sad news, I recently came across Picko in my research on TVR Grantura racing. Picko raced his Supercharged Ford engined Grantura Mk1 at Velodromloppett in June 1960 and Vastkustloppet in July 1960.

Fredrik Bolander who owns a Climax engined Mk2 Grantura met Picko last year at Velodromloppett. Picko remembered his Grantura but said the Ford engine didn't have enough power. He fondly remembered driving the Grantura to Zandvoort. Does anyone have a record of Picko in his Grantura at Zandvoort in 1959 or 1960.

RIP

Good guy - good fun - vividly recalled.  Sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Remember racing against his yellow and red Z 28 Liptons Camaro with the Wiggins Teape Camaro and Brian Muir.
