I'm optimistic and say Vettel in Sotschi, but my money is on Ricciardo in Monaco ;)

Statistically I don't believe that will happen. I feel the engines are closer than the last two years where Mercedes missed out on perfection by a fair margin (3 races).

No one will touch Merc in Russia

If Ferrari fix their engine for Spain they have an outside chance, but no

Monaco is anyone's game between the top 3 teams

Canada I think again will be closely fought between the top 3, similarly to Shanghai it's twisting and turning until the final straight, Renault's engine update due

I expect Merc to drop atleast 2 races before the summer break.

Vettel - Spain.

They have the car to do it, it's through their own issues they haven't already taken a win. Not taking anything away from Rosberg but he has had no challenge whatsoever, the real picture is closer than the results thus far show.

Or is that just wishful thinking?

I'm going to say Ricciardo in Hungary

Ricciardo has been nailing some fine quali laps, so most likely him in Monaco. If everything goes ok for Merc in Russia and Spain I'd expect they'd win those, although Ferrari won't be far away.

Has to be Ricciarrdo at Monaco; The RB (according to Ted and GPS data) is already the best car in slow corners, so that bodes well for them around Monaco, factor in DR who is driving like a man possessed at the moment and their chances don't look too bad.

About time you jumped on the bandwagon.

I'm going with Danny Ric at Monaco myself. Kraviz said on the post-race notebook that the Red Bull is quickest in the slow corners. Not only that, but Ric's qualifying laps in 2014 and 2015 were very strong. Especially last year, where he had technical difficulties at the start of his lap, yet still managed to out-qualify Kvyat.

Edit: Mercstar beat me to it by 10 seconds. The pansy   ;)

I contest some of the claims here by saying Jolyon Palmer in Abu Dhabi. :p

Seriously... Most likely Vettel, then Ricciardo, then Raikkonen (in terms of likelihood).

Red Bull's trump card may indeed be Monaco... and then Singapore/Hungary, but Ferrari is likely to have a greater variety of races, where they can get close to Mercedes, and capitalize in "suitable circumstances". If it rains, all bets are off and it is tough to choose between Vettel and Ricciardo in these conditions.

Mercedes has been pretty handy around Monaco.

I'll be surprised, and disappointed, if Baku isn't a chaotic race. Under those circumstances, it's hard to go wrong with Williams Red Bull.

Kvyat? Why not, it'd be good fun.

Vettel in Sochi. More in hope than expectation - I'm a fan and F1 really needs a two-team title battle. Also, I think Ferrari have a strong chance anywhere they can string a clean weekend together.

Ricciardo and Reb Bull look pretty awesome so far this year, just a shame about the PU. I'm sure they will win a few this season though. My optimism says next race.

Unless it rains in Sochi, or even Spain, which throws things in the air, I both think and hope it'll be Ricciardo and Monaco.

…as the majority does. :)

Absolutely. What could go wrong!

I should perhaps note that while I mentioned Kvyat, I actually voted for Vettel because we can't let him lose to Ricciardo again have to keep supporting the Scuderia!

What does an F1 driver do when he wins a race against Mercedes?

Turns off his play-station and go to bed.

Seriously, I think Vettel has the best chance and it might be anywhere. You never know where both of the Mercedes drivers will encounter some kind of issues.

Vettel in Spain (unless it rains) mainly because the plain history of Mercedes claims that they'll stay in the lead in Russia.
