This engine sounded very promising back in 2008. It was unusual in putting the cam on the exhaust side.

Did anything ever come of it?

 

If you beleive the claims a 5.4 litre version would have 700 bhp+ on methanol. That would suggest puting the cams on the exhaust side of a V-8 has significant advantages?

I had never heard of it.  It looks half a decent thing but maybe it does not make the power or just too expensive.

My immediate impression is the rocker cover is 409 or RO7.

The article does make sense with the cam location and having the intake up top does too unlike some midget engines with the injectors down in the mud.
