Indy 500 Race week will feature the LARGEST GATHERING OF HISTORIC INDYCARS any place ever! Over 125 historic Indy cars, 8 tribute cars and even 5 restored historic transporters will participate in the 2016 Historic Indycar Exhibition at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Cars will be both on display as well as run ON TRACK three separate days (Thursday -Saturday), and many will also be displayed Wed outside the Museum. Cars from 1908 through 1991 will all participate. Cars will be divided into 3 separate groups for the on track exhibitions: Pre-War Era (27 cars), Roadster Era (39 cars), and the Rear Engine Era (60 cars).
