Mike Wilds is giving a talk this coming Tuesday (7th June) at the Bull at Hinton (SN14 8HG), which is a couple of miles from junction 18 on the M4. Start time is 8.00 pm, and as the seats are a little uncomfortable it’s a good idea to bring a cushion with you. All TNF members would be very welcome.

The talk has been organised by Club Lotus Avon, whose hard-working leader Rob Ford does a great job laying on a fine selection of guest speakers every month. Coming attractions include Alec Poole, Stuart Turner, Chris Craft and Peter Windsor, plus TNFers Kevin Whittle and James Page. Full list of speakers for the rest of the year here:

Tim,Thanks for the heads up on this one.I have been to many of these meetings and one has to admire Rod Fords ability to persuade the likes of Jack Sears,Mike Costin,Dave Brodie etc. to motor for miles to give a talk for a couple of hours...

This meeting is probably the nearest we get to a TNF lodge down Brizzol way!

You can tell him I saw his Dempster Ensign LNF 3 at Harewood Hillclimb yesterday  - looks more unscathed by the passage of 40 odd years since I last saw it than I do ...

....and tell him that I enjoyed his F3 win at Croft in August 1973, driving the Dempster March.  I still have the 'Dirty Dempster' sticker somewhere....
