I noticed that this brilliant little series doesn't appear to have its own thread.

 

Ive been a single seater race fan for around 27 years, then something strange happened and around 2012 I begun to be intrigued by the LMP1 car's.  Then I visited my first endurance series event in 2015 at Brands Hatch, The Blancpain GT Sprint series.  

 

I visited again this year in May 2016 and the event is just magical.  It contains all that wonderful atmosphere that Grand Prix used to have in the late 80's and early 90's and I really cant recommend this event enough.   I am looking into if I can make the Spa 24hrs event later this year, it really was that good! 

 

Unfortunately the next event is held at Paul Ricard in france which is a shame but baring that event all the circuits seem great.

I find it rather funny that there's one thread for GT racing in the 'racing comments'- section of the forum, while at the same time the place is inundated with F1-related threads.

A bit because it is easier to have one thread for series with less interest. Just look at the Rally-thread, and the standalone Rallycross thread. It would've been better to have them combined.
