Here is another fraudster who is linked to motorsport. he has just been convicted for taking £40k from the Energy Coast of which he was finance director, here in Cumbria.

Two previous convictions, one from taking £2.8m to set up an F1 team - he might be able to buy the wheels for that!
Does anyone remember him racing or setting up a team etc?

Sadly, he is a familiar face. If you seek more information, search for his pseudonym James Munroe. If you rely on memory, think back to the McGraw Hill fraud of 2000 when Munroe/Cox was convicted of taking the £2.8m to pay for his GT racing in a McLaren F1 GTR (so nothing whatsoever to do with Formula One).

I remember him racing in the British GT in the late 1990's as James Munroe, at the time he ran a Mclaren F1 GTR with Chris Goodwin, he claimed to be an IT entrepreneur back then, the series had some top machinery back then with a couple of Mclaren GTR's and Porsche GT1's. The organisers stepped in and banned them when the costs started escalating.

I always found it strange that a con man would allow himself to be interviewed on TV spinning his lies when his employer may have been watching.......
