A street has been named in his honor next to the former Augusta International Raceway.

A name from my misspent youth....though mostly remembered for unfulfilled dreams.

Indeed, great fotos and no idea of his death, thank you.

RIP

Richard

I was there the day those pics were taken...

Spectacular, the ground shook, it was an event not to be missed.

Ray:

Can you tell us anything about the car? Is that the oil filler atop the right-front fender?

Thanks,

Frank

As Ken is in the spotlight just at the moment with the release of  the Le Mans '66 / Ford v Ferrari film, I thought it would be appropriate to revive this thread.

Pictured this weekend, 29 Queenswood Road, Moseley in Birmingham which was the last residence of Ken & Molly before they departed for the US. The rest is history.....

Would like to know what ever happened to his son Peter.  Was he interested in racing or cars?   Never heard anything about him-  he had an important role in the movie...

In the mid 1990s Peter was at Precision Performance Inc in California working on trucks that competed in the Baja 1000 off-road race.
