This is the future F1 car design with a Champ Car-style car design. Only roll hoop and engine cover will be featured. F1 car will do revolutionary 2019 or 2020 onwards.

IndyCar Series 2018 season will switch to Champ Car-style bodywork despite based on Dallara DW12 frame and will use until 2020 season.

I'd like to see the air scoops over the roll bar eliminated and the engine covers be lower like they were from 1977-whenever the scoops/airboxes came back. It's a much neater look. And the engine covers wouldn't be as low as in that drawing. That's Brabham BT-55 low.

Why would F1 teams want to give up some prime advertising space?

You really shouldn't do posts saying things WILL happen when it's pure fantasy

They haven't got any sponsors so it's not a problem.

For Christ's sake - the kid (I presume Therius is a kid) is proud of his drawing - and it's not bad - no need for the superior attitudes.

Well then compliments to the artist and his technically relevant commentary here https://thewptformul...16-predictions/

No need to treat everyone like a special snowflake.

Indy cars may as well run full bodies and become Sports cars. And if F1 follows they may as well be Le Mans cars!!

All the nanny rules, yet basic racing safety  rules ignored. Yet the FIA still allows rallying !
