Ok, so let's forget the 31 and start discussing the 32 :)

Since nothing interesting is happening at the moment, why not warm ourselfs up with a bit of discussion about the potential livery. :p

Will it change? Will we get orange at last? Or white&red maybe? Who knows... With Dennis gone, everything is possible. Maybe will see a Mclaren with more jizz and vibes...

My personal guess would be that there will be no big changes. Except perhaps a mat black/grey colour instead of shiny black/grey...

The discussion is open.

Btw: this is not a topic restricted to livery. This is the global livery thread to discuss the MP4-32. And I beat you all to it  :D

the green and yellow doesn't go with the red and white at all.

Which means its probably going to happen ;)

I hope they forget the BP logo and opt for Castrol branding.

BP-Castrol partnership is not certain at all. Seems Renault has stolen the march on that one... (source: Joe Saward). But it can still happen...

Ps - aren't there meant to be massive barge boards again?

No colours other than black, grey, white and red will appear on 32.

That would also be my guess... But I'm hoping for a surprise   ;)

Yep. There's also no DRS mechanism and the FW looks way basic (and isn't angled).

I dont think it'll look massively different to this years, certainly not as much red as that, just subtle bits and blobs of red, maybe a bit more 'West' looking than this years, however it looks it's gonna be a beaaaaauty.

As far as i understand, BP will only supply fuel to McL, there is no actual sponsorship deal - or am i mistaken?

Apparently for the sake of sympathy, moderators have decided to let us be amused with this thread. Even moderators don't care about McLarenHonda fans anymore

I don't believe there will be full on BP logos on the car, just something small, since there's no sponsorship.

Makes sense, I'd think that returning to McLaren would hold more appeal than moving to Italy and jumping into the snake pit that is Scuderia Ferrari.

Plus, I think McLaren will improve dramatically next year, they had a big hand in drawing and modelling the new aero regs, Peter Prodromou is a great aerodynamicist and I'm confident that Honda will take a big leap forward next season. A good time to come back into the team under the new leadership of Zak Brown.

Let's wait till there's a McLaren MP4-32 to discuss before we have this thread.
