Hi

 

I thought it was about time I contributed something rather than keep enjoying the site.

I also noticed tha Andy McNab posted & thought this was appropriate.

 

My latest project. I have posted on other websites as it helps keep my focused. ie out in the garage.

 

Cant post the photo as the image url box just locks the screen?

Hi Chris, this isn't the easiest of sites to post photo's on, when I've had problems in the past I've tried coming to the site using Firefox instead of Internet explorer, that sometimes works, assuming you are using a PCs or laptop.

Keep experimenting, try things like pasting the url directly into the post too, that has worked for me in the past, but as I say, we have always had issues here with photo's on and off.

It sometimes helps to toggle the little 'lightswitch' icon in the top left hand corner of the reply box:



This switches the format between WYSIWYG and a more basic format. For me, and many others here, switching to the basic format is the only way we can do quotes, insert photos etc.

I have always liked the look of nickel plated frames, one of the lads from my era had his TZ350 frame nickel plated and it transformed the bike, making it stand out from all the hundreds of other TZ's around at the time.

Well, moving on at last. Got the bike on its wheels. Next up is to find the oil tank & petrol tank & get spike to sort them for me. Petrol tank need ethanol proofing & the oil tank was leaking. Need to dummy fit the tank to see how much room I have for the head steady, coils & Ignition.
