As perhaps some of you know my main interest is F1 in the ´70s.

I found this photo in Ferrari Mondiale di Athos Evangelista e Gino Racanti.

Unfortunately it doesn´t include the names so I ask for your help.

Can you name them? I´m rather certain of 1,3, 4, 6 and 16.

Somewhat certain of 2 and 9 but please name all you recognise.

Christer, my 'certains' are like yours! ie  Lauda, Montezemolo, Regazzoni, Ermanno Cuoghi, Mauro Forghieri.

9 looks like Giulio Borsari but who do you think 2 is?

14 is the Magneti Marelli man, but I forget his name. He won many Grand Prix including I think the South African in 1971, the Japanese in 1977 etc.!

Quickly by heart:

2 Antonio Tomaini

9 Giulio Borsari

12 Valeriano Muzzarelli

13 Sergio Vezzali

14 Vittorugo Tramonti (alias Scintilla);

17 Sante Ghedini

26 Antonio Bellentani;

I believe this picture was taken at the US GP. The back row are likely American mechanics helping out the Scuderia.

Edit #5 and 12.

Thank you John!

As you say our certains are the same and I think nr 2 is Antonio Tomaini.

Perhaps our italian members have a better idea of the others!

Thank you Arjan!

So Tomaini was right.

US seems right. That explains the Good Year truck.

Another thought.

Nr 8´s shirt have a Good Year logo and the back

line men seems to have a similar so perhaps those

are the Good Year tyre people?

No 8 is Bert Baldwin, a Goodyear tyre engineer. See also "Getting a lift " thread, Post 132.

Thank you Peter!

So if we discount the back line the people unnamed are

7, 10, 11 and 15.

Any takers?

Now I checked 12, a different name. Also #5 is not Scaramelli, a long-time Ferrari loyal capomeccanico del reparto corse, never far away from the cars. He sadly passed away last year.

Name of #10 eludes me, he was a regular in the team mid seventies.

Two photos from Anderstorp ´75.

Unfortunately most backs and bums on the second.

As usual name the ones you know. I have a name,

Pignatti, who was supposed to be at the race but I

don´t know if he is in one of the photos.

PS That car is one of the most beautiful I know. DS

I am not sure if Dino Pignatti was with the race team still in 1975. The mechanic push/steering Regazzoni's car is Pietro Corradini, not sure who is at the rear wing. The back is of Cuoghi watching Lauda's car.

Yes, so he was. Standing at left in blue overalls. Sergio Vezzali with cap kneeling. At the right background standing is Cuoghi. No clue who is showing us his back.

Yes, Pignatti standing there in the left back. Ferrari had a solid team of mechanics at all races. Starting as small group with often guys from the factory helping out. Today there are some familiar faces, but the group team members is huge nowadays.
